The reports circulating on the social media by mercenaries of Sidik Mia are not just heartbreaking, but also degrading to the People of the Lower Shire.
As a true son of Lower Shire, I find such allegations ill timed, illogical and very bad. We all know that being rich does not make someone a Political Giant. We are very aware that Mia can never be a Political Giant for Lower Shire and this is a fact. The late Gwanda Chakuamba deserves to be called the Political Giant of Lower Shire looking at all the achievements he made during his time.
My questions are as follows:
In 1994, when MCP lost the first multiparty general election, what did he do to Tambala wakuda?
When the late Bingu got a Political divorce with UDF, what did he do?
Who said “Joyce Banda amayenda ngati bakha? Few years later Bingu died, what did he do even before the burial? Did he not dump DPP and immediately joined PP?
When JB picked Sosten Gwengwe as her running mate, what did he do? He called for a Press Conference and announced his resignation as a Cabinet Minister and PP member.
As time passed, he was finding ways to penetrate MCP. He did all his mathematics in fooling Rev Chakwera, who was easily convinced with monetary benefits, he sold his integrity to this man. Chakwera completely stopped thinking as money really rules the world and fully corrupts, the former man if God fell in love with money.
Today, there is a lot of confusion in MCP and if we clearly observe, you would agree with me that he has been the centre of all this. Does all this make someone a Political Giant?
My pleas to the mercenaries, stop cheating Malawians that your boss is a Political Giant. We don’t recognise him as one and nobody can say so. It would be proper if you retracted sure degrading remarks to the People of Lower Shire. Mia is a new member of MCP and not a giant in Lower Shire.
